All came true. But for two or three,
maybe four high-spirited sprees. No matter, alrighty.

Won't do it myself - the character makes decisions.

Water soberly glides nearby.
On the water a freighter crawls. It carries celestas.
A useful thing. I looked from above, by fortune.
Hefty helmsman sullenly sits
on the aft. He chews Gauloises, and twiddles the lighter.
Thank God not a club. I fade, quiet down, and darkle...

Helmsman - been, Gauloises... well... been.
And a freighter - probably, been. Has not been the water.
Misfortune and woe. Do love me in moderation.
What, Fortuna, I ought to tell
to the singing tenors of yours, if hearken their voices?
Oh, here they are. You tell them yourself, whatever.
